The United Nations POLAC has conferred an Award of Professor of Leadership Management and Christian Ethics on Maritime guru and religious leader, His Eminence, Archbishop Dr Ralph John.
UN POLAC, on January 8, 2026, issued an Honorary Award Appointment Letter to Ambassador Dr Ralph John, JP DD for Professor of Leadership Management and Christian Ethics for his time and participation in the leadership of various capacity for over four decades now with the United Nations SDGs and UNESCO culture of peace.
This promotion, the UN said, is given to those who have been tried and tasted.
The letter to Professor Ralph John read that “Your impact on leadership ranging from political leadership to social and spiritual leadership has rendered a lot of assistance to us here in the advancement of peaceful initiative and fostering of peace coexistence in families,the church and society at large.
”You have been a blessing in every possible way, physical, socially and morally. Your input and sacrifices are unsumantable. With these and thought provoking words, the DG of POLAC Obong Dr Halo Eton confered the professor on Ambassador Dr John Aides of the DG helped to make this occasion successful,” it read.
Professor John has been involved in politics as the Secretary General of Democracy Campaign network for good governance, President of Importers Association of Nigeria (IMAN), President of IN CLARA, President of International Integrity Bishops Forum, Director Protocol Christian Bishops and Elders Council, Archbishop, Jesus King of Glory Ministries and president Coalition of Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria (COMJAN).
