Mgboisire, Rufus Dazzle in Port Harcourt

Crème de la crème of the society from all walks of life converged last week Saturday to honour a young, vibrant and humble man, Rufus Geoffrey Edeh, who hooked his pretty heartthrob, Mgboisire, at a blissful wedding, held at Bethel Anglican Church, Amadi-Ama in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State.
At the well-attended church service, the acting vicar, Revd, Allwell Fibika, enjoined the couple to submit to each other, noting that submission carries grace and blessings from God.

He equally advised them to put absolute trust in God, pointing out that challenges are bound to occur in marriage, but that Almighty God will give them the enabling grace to surmount all forms of challenges.

The preacher added that humility is key to success and growth, urging them to abide by it and maintain the true tradition of life.

At the reception, chairman of the occasion, Dr. Kingdom Unwene, outlined the principles of true relationship and advised the newly wedded couple to imbibe the tenets of Christian marriage to excel.

He however posited that marriage can be faced with turbulence, adding that he is hopeful the couple will surmount all the pressures. He prayed for a successful and prosperous marriage life.

Dignitaries from far and near who thronged the reception extolled the good virtues of the couple and prayed God to strengthen and give them wisdom to live a successful life.

Eminent personalities at the wedding include HRH King Nla Iraron, Ede Obolo 11, King Naaman U.R. Mbere-Edeh, Edeh Ogwuile-Obolo, HRH JGJ Adaria, Chief Ofik, Chief-elect Lucky Ayuwu, Engr. Emiyarei B. Ikuru, Belejit Ikuru, Hon. Victoria George, chairman, Eastern Obolo LGA, prominent chiefs and elders from Agana, Egwede, Okoroete and across the length and breadth of Andoni and beyond.
The parents of the bride and groom were wonderfully present at the epoch event which has the trappings of royalty packed with glitz and glamour.
