Ijaw National Congress (INC), Eastern zone, has conducted election into various offices in the zone.
The election was adjudged to be free and fair by stakeholders who witnessed the event.
Those elected into the various offices were, HRH Nla Iraron as chairman; Sowari H. Hart – vice chairman; Chief Anthony Ibifuro – secretary; Ntesat Daniel Joshua – assistant secretary; Erasmus Samuel – financial secretary; Karibo Lawrence – treasurer; Gift Amangi Kalio – women affairs; Fubara Augustus I – legal adviser; Ibiosiya Sukubo – publicity secretary and Hon. Abiye Davies – auditor.
The election, which was held on the October 9, 2021, attracted notable and eminent personalities from Ijaw land and beyond.
The new executive has a four-year tenure and will be sworn in few days ahead. Port Harcourt Mundial congratulates the new executive and wishes them well in their task to reposition Ijaw land.
