Glamour, Glitz As Chief Jim Harry Hits 78

The Port Harcourt Old Township was agog with the birthday celebration of Chief Tamunotonye Wenike Jim Tom Big Harry who clocked 78 recently.

A cross section of well-wishers and guests described the septuagenarian as a humble and principle man with unblemished track record of discipline, adding that his caliber is rare in the society.

They further posited that words are inadequate to pour deserving encomiums that would correspond with the flow of selfless love and warmth they’ve been enjoying from him.

The celebrant thanked God for His mercies, especially for His guidance thus far. He commended his children for the bond of a close-knit family relationship, adding that they are a source of inspiration to him.

The amiable blue-blood described the wonderful unity and togetherness among his children and prayed for strength, fortitude and love to always dwell among them.

First daughter of the celebrant, Lolia Banigo described her father as the best man and a strict disciplinarian, whose love and care imbued in them a civic and moral ethical behavior.

Akromaa Lawrence Oduma, second daughter of the celebrant said her father is passionate about their upbringing, pointing out that even in the face of distraction, he remains faithful and committed to his dreams.

Pastor Lawrence Oduma, son-in-law, described Chief T.W Jim Harry as an upright man, even in difficult times, stressing that he will remain grateful for having such a man as a father-in-law.

He said the celebrant is highly cultured, focused, bold and upright in his opinions.

Chief Datubo Ekine, on behalf of the family described their celebrant as a quintessential father-figure who commands respect among his peers.

He said his style of leadership is second to none and prayed for more wisdom and strength to discharge his responsibilities.

On the sideline of the event, many admirers of the celebrant extolled his good virtues as they joined in the celebration. Good music vibes added colour to the event, as sumptuous meals and drinks were served to guests at the memorable ceremony.
