The president-general of the great Evwreni Kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Double Chief Kenneth Ukpebitere, aka ‘Arukugbe 1 of Evwreni’ has just added a year to his age.
The birthday event, held on July 16, 2026 at his residence in Evwreni town, drew together family members, traditional chiefs within and outside Evwreni kingdom, political heavyweights across Delta State, business magnates and community leaders from both Urhobo and Isoko ethnic regions.
In his message to the celebrant, Evwreni monarch, who is also the royal father of the kingdom, HRM, Oghenekevwe Kumane, Eruvwedede 3, described Chief Ukpebitere as a loyal and obedient leader, worthy of celebration.
He described his relationship with Chief Ukpebitere, as the president-general of Evwreni kingdom, as that of a father and his son, and prayed for God to add more years to his years.
Also, an Ughelli based popular pastor, Pastor John Omoyibo described Ukpebitere as a leader in Evwreni who always carried the people along in the course of his leadership.
In the same vein, other members of the executive council, Evwreni Clan Improvement Union (ECIU), poured encomiums on the amiable president-general as he added another year to his age.
They described him as a leader of dignity, prudence, accountability and a man of honour, who always stretched his hands of favour to those working with him in the council.
Expressing their felicitations with the Evwreni PG, leaders from Unenurhie community described Chief Ukpebitere as a leader with listening ears.
Speaking on behalf of the community, a former president-general of Unenurhie community, Mr. Peter Maison, said: “Double Chief Kenneth Ukpebitere as the president-general of the entire Evwreni kingdom is living according to his traditional chieftaincy title of “Arukugbe 1 of Evwreni kingdom.”
Mr. Maison went further to say that, since Chief Ukpebitere assumed office as the president-general of Evwreni, he has joined forces with the Ovie of Evwreni kingdom to restore unity and love to all aggrieved persons in the kingdom as a result of one issue or the other.
He concluded his birthday message by offering prayers to the celebrant.
