He further, reiterated in an interview that it was not a contestable fact the vision of UN is always geared towards promoting peace in the society which must have necessitated the move by IAWPA to honour the three Patriotic Nigerians found doing good in preaching peace and touching lives positively.

“Indeed, the three young Patriotic Nigerians being decorated here as Eminent Peace Ambassadors have adopted into the legion of Eminent Peace Ambassadors, hence it behooves on them now to intensify efforts in using the instrument to championing the message of peace at anywhere they found themselves and also be touching lives positively in the society”.

“Truly, why we often records some spate of violence in the land today is not that one does not want to be peaceful, but experience had shown that there are certain factors that can make peace to be threatened which the cause could be traceable to one not doing well in life, say unemployment or engaged in doing one meaningful thing or the other.”

The respected Lord Mayor therefore, enjoined everyone to try as much as possible to do well in adding value to humanity by showing kindness on whoever that is close to them, believing that by so doing, it will indirectly lead to promoting peace in the society.

“Unarguably, the World we are living inside today, is under constant construction and destruction via the instrument of man and it is whom you are giving your life that determine what you are doing, either you give yourself to God and become an agent of construction or you give yourself to devil and become an agent of destruction”, he said.
