Senator Magnus Abe

2023: Abe, Liberal-minded Leader Rivers Deserves ~ CookeyGam

By Bethel Toby

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Abe, has been described as a “liberal-minded philanthropist and development driven leader” the state and its people deserves as governor for the overall interest of the electorate in the next four years.

Speaking with journalists recently in Opobo, the party’s House of Assembly candidate for Opobo/Nkoro State Constituency in the polls, Hon. Elliot Opubo CookeyGam stressed that Abe remains the people’s choice in the governance of the state come 2023, adding that Abe’s administration would touch lives, change future political, economic and social status of the people and society.

“Magnus Abe being a liberal minded leader has become the people’s expectations and concerns. I have no doubt in me that when voted to power, Abe will perform creditably well by providing the needed development incentives, such as roads construction, urban and rural renewal, agriculture, security, job creation, empowerment, education, free health care services and regular payment of salaries and pensions to workers and retired among others as and when due.

“The administration of Senator Magnus Abe when elected as governor would deliver quality representation in the next four years in project execution,” he said.

He therefore urged Rivers people to shun political sentiments and biases and vote collectively for Senator Magnus Abe as governor in the March 18, 2023 general polls for their betterment.

Meanwhile, Hon. Elliot CookeyGam has urged the people of Opobo/Nkoro to ensure that they vote him into power as their representative in the State House of Assembly for effective and quality representation, noting that he has the pedigree and leadership prowess to bring good tidings to them. He warned that any attempt to vote against SDP would mar their development in the next four years.

He enjoined them to conduct themselves mannerly before, during and after the governorship polls.
