The paramount ruler of the ancient Evwreni Kingdom in Ughelli North LGA of Delta state, His Royal Majesty, Oghenekevwe Kumane, Eruvwedede III, will play host to all the traditional rulers in the Delta Central Senatorial District of the state. The royal event which is scheduled to hold on 11th August, 2026 at the king’s palace will also draw other prominent leaders in the senatorial district in attendance.
According to an official statement released from the king’s palace by the palace secretary, the purpose is to brainstorm over some salient issues confronting the senatorial district. The event will also feature different cultural displays from the entire kingdom to entertain the special guests and other invitees.
The secretary on behalf of the Evwreni monarch, called on all Evwreni traditional chiefs, political leaders, religious leaders, business men and women and all sons and daughters of Evwreni kingdom to join hands with their royal father to give the royal fathers across the senatorial district a splendid royal welcome and a taste of royalty from the ancient Evwreni kingdom in Urhoboland.
The Delta Central Senatorial District comprised eight local government areas in the state and they are mainly Urhobo ethnic region.
