Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Hon Charles Wobodo, said that Ikwerre LGA has always shown unwavering commitment and willingness by demonstrating genuine support to any candidate of its choice at any political setting.
Wobodo stated this shortly after the Rivers East Senatorial District primary election in Ikwerre LGA.
The Ikwerre council Chairman said that the LGA would fully support and deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027 general elections.
The Ikwerre council boss maintained that there is no other political party in Ikwerre LGA, pointing out that Ikwerre Local Government would replicate what happened in the primary election at the general elections in 2027.
According to Wobodo, Ikwerre LGA is predominantly APC, noting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Nyesom Wike has done very well in Nigeria, adding that what Ikwerre people owe Mr president is to support and vote massively for him in 2027.
He assured that Ikwerre LGA would come out enmasse to vote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in 2027.
Also speaking, Chairman, Rivers State Waste Management Agency RIWAMA, Engr Samuel Nwanosike, regretted that Ikwerre LGA has produced two Governors in Rivers State, yet the area remains underdeveloped.
Hon. Nwanosike noted that somebody who did not do anything for his people for 8 years as Rivers State Governor and Speaker wants to be president of Nigeria. He added that such a person who do not have the interest of his people at heart cannot have anything to offer Nigerians.
He maintained that Ikwerre LGA would deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
In his speech, National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress APC, Felix Morka, Commended Ikwerre Local Government Area for mobilization and coordination at the Senatorial primary election in the area, saying that their actions shows that the people of Ikwerre LGA are united.
National Vice Chairman south south of the All Progressive Congress APC, Chief Victor Giadom opined that Ikwerre LGA has always been politically active, expressing optimism that come 2027, Ikwerre people will massively vote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term in office
He commended the people exhibiting peaceful conduct at senatorial primary election in the area.
He also commended Ikwerre people for their coordination and comportment.
Former member, representing Ikwerre Emouha federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Elder Chidi Whihioka, said that Ikwerre LGA will vote overwhelmingly for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 general elections.
He urged the National Publicity Secretary, APC, Felix Morka to convey the message to Mr President that Ikwerre LGA is100 percent for him in 2027.
