Wike Calls for Prayers for Nigeria, Tinubu, as Okocha Celebrates Appointments

FCT Minister, Chief Nyesom Wike, has called on Nigerians from all walks of life to join hands in prayers for the country and President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

Wike made the call at a Thanksgiving Service held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rumuapara, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The former Rivers State governor who did not state why Nigerians should pray for the president and country, some in the congregation murmured that the economic hardship in the country was trite.

Speaking further, the FCT minister said he was in tune with the celebrant. He felicitated with Tony Okocha, the celebrant, whose wife Oghechi marked her birthday.

Twenty-one local government chairmen were in attendance as well as stalwarts of the All Progressive Congress, APC, traditional rulers, captains and chieftains of industry.
