PDP Crisis: Kinsmen Worsens Secondus’ Woes, Suspends Embattled Chairman

By Joel Anekwe

It was more troubles for Uche Secondus, the embattled national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as his kinsmen officially announced his suspension as member of the party in Ward 5, Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

His suspension is coming after stakeholders and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party from Andoni Local Government Area paid a solidarity visit to the state chairman of the party, Ambassador Desmond Akawor, to register their loyalty to the party and declare their support for the sacking of their kinsman and national chairman the party, Prince Uche Secondus

On Tuesday his kinsmen from Ikuru town ward 5 added voice to the suspension as men and women bearing various placards insisted that their son must leave the party and also supported the move by the leadership of the PDP in Rivers State to suspend Secondus all together from the party.

They expressed their unflinching support for Governor Nyesom Wike and pledged to stand by whatever decision the PDP in the state takes on the fate of Secondus as a member of the party.
