The Bayelsa State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has applauded the re-appointment of Dr. Samuel Kolawole Oredipe as the director-general, New Media to the governor of Bayelsa State.
A statement by the council chairman, Comrade Samuel Numonengi, and secretary, Comrade Ogio Ipigansi described Dr. Oredipe’s reappointment as well deserved considering his positive contributions to the management of the governor’s New Media activities in the last four years.
The statement congratulated the appointee and expressed optimism in his ability to deliver in line with the prosperity mantra of the Diri administration.
The statement further noted that the media in the state holds the appointee in high esteem and expects good working relationship with him.
