I’ll Unite Rivers APC If Elected Chairman ~ Nyeomasila

National Leader of ‘I SEE YOU GROUP,’ Hon Chizi Nyeomasila said he will unite the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State if elected chairman of the party. This follows the party’s plans to hold its ward, LGA and state congresses.

The APC chieftain made the comment while receiving the Interest form bought for him by members of the ‘I SEE YOU GROUP.’

He said that if he is unable to resolve the lingering crisis in the party within ninety days of his assumption in office, he will resign as party chairman, stressing that it is not by his powers, but that with a sincere leadership, coupled with God’s presence, peace would reign supreme.

Nyeomasila assured that he will provide leadership that will foster peace, unity and progress in the party, pointing out that he accepted the offer by his group to contest the chairmanship position because of the leadership potentials of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the minister’s bid to bring good governance back in the state.

He noted that the present administration under Governor Nyesom Wike had failed in providing good governance to the people of the state, adding that the recent killings in the state shows clearly that the government had failed woefully in the area of security.

The chairman hopeful advised all members of the APC in the state to come together in unity to push out the PDP government from office come 2023, as he thanked the leader of the party in the state and minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Amaechi, “for providing good governance during his tenure as the governor of the state.”

He applauded the ‘I SEE YOU GROUP’ members for purchasing the form for him, promising that he will not disappoint them.

Director General of the group, Barr Gospel Chikwe Agi, said the leadership qualities of the national leader will enable him to restore peace to the party.

He stressed that the group is made up of members of APC in the state, with huge support for the vision of the party through the leadership of the minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Amaechi, as he advised members to support their national leader (Nyeomasila) to bring the desired result the party needs to move forward.

Meanwhile, state secretary of the advisory council of the group, Chibo Onyesom while presenting the form to Nyeomasila, said the national leader’s contributions will play a critical role in the party, stressing that as leader of a research-based organization like ‘I See You Group,’ if given the opportunity to lead the party, will reposition it for success come 2023.

The group’s director of women affairs, Tammy Ogonda noted that the women are totally in support of the leader to run for the position of chairman of the APC, adding that his leadership traits will enable him take the party to a greater height.

Chairman of the Elders’ Council, Morris Braide expressed confidence in Nyeomasila’s ability, judging from his leadership style, adding that the elders are fully behind the national leader.
