DGMI Is Raising Men For Christ ~ Anwana

In a world filled with turmoil and turbulent times, the Divine Grace Mission Int’l (DGMI), aka Kingdom Vision Chapel, has been mandated to raise men to do greater works for Christ.

Host Pastor of DGMI, Dr. Sunday Anwana, made this known during their inaugural service, tagged: ‘A New Chapter,’ held at the church auditorium, at Igbo-Etche, on Sunday.

Quoting from Mark 16:15, which asks believers to go into the world and preach the Gospel to all men, Dr. Anwana said the Divine Grace Mission was born with the vision to harness all God-given resources in to evangelise the world.

“This mission is to raise men to do greater works, because Jesus himself said that ‘greater works will you do than I do.’ This does not mean that we are God.  But he (Christ) has given us the power to do more than he did,” Anwana said.

He said that the people of Igbo-Etche are to look forward to “God service and the out-pouring of divine grace from the church.  They know that God exists and they believe that this church would be faithful to do the work of God.”

Commenting on the issue of violence against Christians in Nigeria, Dr. Anwana urged believers to be Christ-like, and to remember that “we do not fight with physical ammunitions, but on our knees,” adding that prayers can move mountains and touch lives.

Senior Pastor of the Best People Assembly, Rev. Prof Livinus Firi, who was on hand to minister to the new church, said “God is a God of increase.”

He urged the church and Christians all over the world to be steadfast in the things of God, adding that though the beginning might be small, the latter and will greatly increase.

“When Jesus came, he came alone.  From there, he added Peter, James, the twelve, seventy, one hundred and twenty, one thousand and then a great multitude.

“Any foundation that is laid in God will surely succeed.  So, as believers, we should hold onto God, serve Him faithfully and He will bless us,” Prof Firi said.
