No Division In PFN ~ Apostle Ogu

The general overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission, Apostle Eugene Ogu has said that there was no division in the fold of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) contrary to insinuations in some quarters, stressing that the PFN was united and will continue to be one indivisible family.

Apostle Ogu made this declaration while speaking with newsmen at the end of the service organized by the PFN, ·Rivers State chapter to mark this year’s day of Pentecost at the Abundant Life Evangel Mission, Port Harcourt.

He said it was erroneous for anybody to say that the PFN family was divided pointing out that the various churches that make up the body would not have been represented at the service if there was any division in the fold.

The former chairman of PFN in the state however used the opportunity to throw more light on the essence of the meeting which he said was to foster unity among Pentecostal churches, and also emphasized that the unity of the body of Christ can be sustained by love and power of the Holy Spirit.

It also afforded him the opportunity to make a declaration that the body of Christ was united in Rivers State and to appreciate their different gifts and callings irrespective of their different operations.

The man of God who is also the national director (security) of PFN, admitted that there is moral decadence in the society as a result of leadership and economic failures by political leaders.

He said the church has been doing enough to clean up the mess, and regretted a situation where youths are turned out every year from the universities and are left to roam the streets in search of non-existing jobs, which he said is a direct manifestation of the failure of leadership.

Apostle Ogu said that if not for prayers and teachings of the churches, that the situation would have been worse than what it is today, adding that until governments at all levels step up their game and come up with policies and programmes that will have positive impact on the masses, we will continue to face problems with the morals of the youths.
