A Port Harcourt socialite, Chief-Elect Tamunobelema Dandison George, has described Ambassador Joseph Cole, Deputy Director of Planning, Research and Management Information System (MIS) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as a thorough-bred professional whose knack for the development of the Niger Delta is “unprecedented and unparalleled in the annals of history.”
Speaking to newsmen on the sideline of the Niger Delta Development Commission’s Strategic Stakeholders Engagement on the medium term implementation of the Niger Delta Regional Development Masterplan (NDRDMP) and communication strategy event, held at the Landmark Hotels recently, Chief George appreciated the organizers, especially Ambassador Joseph Cole for bringing together stakeholders from the nine NDDC states with the aim of driving home sustainable development, reducing poverty and hunger and promoting economic growth in the region.

Chief George further applauded Cole for the engagement event, saying it has given them a sense of belonging and a greater knowledge in the affairs of the region.
Chief George maintained that Ambassador Cole represents “the strength of the weak, the help of the helpless, the hope of the hopeless and the power of the powerless,” noting also that the NDDC administrator is “an embodiment of progress whose kind assistance financially and otherwise in the society, is far reaching, covering the length and breadth of the region and beyond.”
He called on all men and women of conscience to rally round Ambassador Joseph Cole, pointing out that words are inadequate to describe the qualities of this great Ambassador, adding that he is exceptional and unique in every sense, because he stands out amongst his peers and equals.
He prayed the Almighty God to graciously protect him and give him unmerited favour in the task ahead.
