Nwogbo Bags Distinguished Company Director Award


The managing director and chief executive officer of Osforce Nigeria Limited, Engr. Anthony Osita Nwogbo has been honoured with the ‘Distinguished Company Director of the Year 2024 in Energy & Power Industry,’ by the Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria NDMPN.

Presenting the award plaque to him at his office, the secretary of Board of Trustee BOT of Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria (NDMPN) Pastor Gospel Oziri explained that the honour was well deserved following the report of assessment team of the association.

He advised the awardee to maintain on the speed lane considering his giant achievements which not limited to Oil and Gas, Engineering, power and energy to avoid being overtaken by the younger generation.

NDMPN scribe further uses the medium to urged other corporate organizations to emulate the philanthropic gesture of their Awardee on youth engagement for the free crime society to be achieved.

Responding on the honour done him, the managing director of Osforce Nigeria Limited Engr Anthony Osita Nwogbo thanked the media organization for finding him worthy of the recognition in their little contribution for better society.

He maintained that Nigeria as a country is blessed with a lot of intellectuals who has proffered several solution and discoveries but lamented that lack of implantation has kept the country backwards, hence his call to prevail government at all levels to encourage local production and remove administrative bottle neck on some policies.

Engr Nwogbo commended the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration’s effort on power reform by removing the power sector of exclusive list there by giving the states the edge to generate power, lamenting that months after the signing of the bill into act by the President Ahmad Tinubu administration mush has not been had from different states on how to regulate and generate their own power.
