It was a delightful sight last Friday July 18, 2025 as Wisdom Anachor Abel stood out to be bestowed with the Award of Eminent Peace Ambassador from members of the International Association of World Peace Advocate (IAWPA), an international organization affiliated with the United Nations ECOSOC and formed since 2019.
The award ceremony, which took place at High Above Outreach Ministry Church situated in Omuochiohi Farm Road, Aluu, Port Harcourt, saw Amb. George Ojida, the Media Coordinator of the body (IAWPA) representing the International Spokesman of IAWPA, Amb. Dr. Emmanuel Nkweke, who made a brief remark about the organization and its mission in Aluu.
In his words, “We are here today basically to honour one of your own Wisdom Anachor Abel with an Award in tandem with the vision and recognition of the body which has to do serving humanity.
“And from our indept findings, it was not doubt that Wisdom Anachor Abel had shown committed efforts in touching the lives of the down-trodden in the society, hence, deserves to be honoured, while believing that he will not derail in continuing in adding value in serving humanity and also ensuring that peace reign supreme at any where he finds himself.”
Speaking in an interview after receiving the Eminent Peace Ambassador’s Award, Amb. Wisdom Anachor Abel disclosed that he felt so great to be honoured with an International Award, describing the opportunity as a dream, come true.
“Believe me, I cannot thank God enough for making this my dream to become an Ambassador a reality today. Truly, it has been my desire right from my childhood, having been rendering helping hands to others in the society.
“However, I will continue not only to sue for peace but also intensify efforts in ensuring that the down-trodden in our society are equally loved and assisted positively.”
The visibly elated Amb. Abel seized the opportunity to thank, most especially Members of International Association of World Peace Advocate (IAWPA) for finding him worthy to be honoured with an Award while assuring that he will not disappoint them in deviating from the vision of the United Nations.
Also in a separate interview at the side line of the event, the mother of the awardee, Prophetess Blessing Abel could not hold back her joy in appreciating God Almighty for elevating her son to be honoured with an International Award from a world recognized organization.
“Truly, I’m overwhelmed with great joy today seeing my son being given an Award as Eminent Peace Ambassador and it is my prayer that the Almighty God should help him to abide with the guidelines of the appointment which is all about advocating for peace at all times and serving humanity in the society,” she said.
