What Stands Me Out Among Aspirants ~ Alaibe

One of the top contenders for the Bayelsa State governorship election, Chief Timi Alaibe has adduced reasons why he stands out among the pack, urging delegates to cast their votes wisely.

In an interaction with the Federated Correspondents chapel, the former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) posited that he is eminently competent, experienced and qualified to govern Bayelsa State with a wealth of experiences as a public and private manager of resources and Human management as he is not an accidental leader, but vast with the development and aspiration for the betterment of the state. “Am not prepared for accidental leadership, but have the capacity, competence to turn around the fortune of the state’s economy in job creation, employment and expansion of the Blue economy with its untapped benefits.

“Private sector experience is key and the state is in dire need of a discipline leader which am bringing to the table”

He disclosed that there are enormous latent resources in the Blue economy, tourism as big revenue as a state with the longest Coastline and aquatic splendor in the seaside and Epie Creek are veritable tourism potentials with its multiplier effects on revenue generation.

He prides himself as a game changer with a ten point agenda and promised under six months rule of law, peace and security that will attract private investors, enumerate  all the unemployed youths , skill the unskilled , address graduate by capturing into laptop of a million data bank.

He also promised to embark on human capital development and quality education and health sector which the incumbent governor had laid a solid foundation which is poised of building upon.

Other areas that will attraction his attention and implementation  include improved medical centres in all the eight local government areas, Yenagoa master plan to be up-scaled, environmental remediation and afforestation and sports development, by this he intends to develop infrastructure , unearthing of unknown sports to create wealth and swimming which the state has comparative advantages.

On his relationship with Governor Seriake Dickson, he said there is no fundamental issues, but has respect for him and will not have any altercations with him as a leader he adores.
