Gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in Imo State, Mr. Ejike Chukwu says they are set to take over the state in the next political dispensation.
Speaking to news men at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa recently, Chukwu noted that Imo State is in dire need of men of character and integrity who would usher in good governance to the state, adding that the ADC has such men.
He disclosed that the party had just inaugurated the Atiku/Obi Support Group under the platform of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) and is fully prepared to take over the state and assured Imo people of their victory.
“We’re taking over Imo State to bring good governance to the people. Looking at what is happening in Imo today, Imo people are in dire need of men of character that have the interest of the masses at heart, and that is what we represent. Shortly we will be going into the battle that we will win and I can assure you of victory in the coming elections”, he said.
He called on the electorates, both at home and in diaspora to rise up and make the proper choice, assuring them that the ADC has not come to cajole the people but to bring good governance to them, promising that the ADC has come to rescue Imo State from the task masters holding them ransom just as God raised Moses to deliver Israelites from the Egyptians.
“I am assuring Imo people and also urging them to come out en masse irrespective of political divide and vote ADC and vote me as the governor and they are sure to reap the fruits of their support”, he maintained.
