Vote Best Leaders in 2023, Kumuyi Charges Nigerians

… Calls for Peaceful Polls

The general overseer of Deeper life Bible Church worldwide Pastor (Dr.) William Folorunso Kumuyi has advised Nigerians to embrace peace before, during and after the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Briefing journalists in Bori, headquarters of Ogoni ethnic nationality in Rivers State on the ongoing seven-day Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), the cleric urged Nigerians to allow their conscience guide them while electing their leaders at all levels.

He said, “That’s why we have democracy and that’s why are given chance to know our candidates at the local government, the state and the national level. 

“And since we want the best, and we have been dreaming and expecting that we have the very best for our country, it’s to our advantage if we talk to ourselves and be at peace so that we can have a peaceful and fair elections to give everyone the chance to voluntarily elect the person he believes will give the best for our country.

“So, I would say that we should keep the unity and the peace of the country and have the elections in a peaceful atmosphere.

“We are praying to God to give us the best that will lead our country out of whatever challenges we have to move further in the interest of our country.”

The cleric also used the medium to sympathise with all those affected by the ravaging flood disaster in Rivers State and Nigeria in general.

On the theme of the crusade; ‘Supernatural Freedom through Christ’, Kumuyi said the crusade will bring total freedom to Ogoniland and Rivers State. 

“This crusade will feature healings, miracles and supernatural wonders and freedom from sins and there will be peace and prosperity in the land. We will be teaching the next face of love, mercy and compassion of God to the rest of the world.”

He added that, “God led us to choose Bori at this time for the Global Crusade. He is going to grant supernatural freedom to everyone present, to every family, to every communities, the state and to the rest of the world.”

On his love for the youths, he said, “Before I pass off the stage, I want to get the youths out of where they are to the pinnacle of success where they ought to be”.

Pastor Kumuyi on arrival at Bori, was welcomed by mammoth crowd. 

The cleric and his wife, Esther were also honoured with meritorious awards by the church in the state, and presented with lots of gifts by the leadership of the Ogoni people including traditional rulers to express their warmest reception for the man of God.

They noted that Pastor Kumuyi’s choice of Ogoni for the crusade was divine.
