‎An expert in governance and public policy, Engr. Innocent Ikhile, has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the 36 State Governors, and the Federal Capital Territory Administration(FCTA) to further strengthen ongoing national efforts aimed at improving security, completing critical public projects, and expanding youth-focused development programmes.

‎Speaking with newsmen recently in Ndoni Town, Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Engr.  Ikhile noted that insecurity remains one of the major obstacles to faster socio- economic progress in the country. He emphasized the need to continue enhancing intelligence-driven security structures, community-based collaboration, and modern technology to support the government’s existing initiatives.

‎He also encouraged federal and state authorities to deepen their commitment toward completing public projects that have slowed down over time, noting that a coordinated national audit could help clarify funding gaps, improve project continuity, and ensure that investments deliver maximum value to citizens.

‎On youth development, Engr. Ikhile observed that Nigeria’s youthful population remains one of its greatest assets. He stressed the importance of increased investment in digital literacy, skills development, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship to unlock the full potential of young Nigerians.

‎”Nigeria stands at a pivotal moment. Strengthening security, improving project delivery, and empowering our youths will accelerate national renewal. These priorities are not criticisms, but calls for collective action, shared responsibility, and stronger collaboration between government and citizens”.

‎He further urged Nigerian youths to remain committed to building a peaceful, united, and progressive nation, encouraging them to engage constructively, uphold values of justice and fairness, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

‎Engr. Ikhile noted that with sustained empowerment programmes, improved security coordination, and effective project management, the country can achieve the transformation citizens earnestly desire.

‎He concluded by calling for a governance approach focused on measurable results, transparency, and long-term impact, adding that this is a crucial moment for Nigeria to consolidate progress and strengthen the foundation for a more prosperous future.
