Majors Samuel and Grace Edung who recently were posted to be divisional leaders of the Rivers/Bayelsa Division in the territory Nigeria will be installed by this weekend.
The Territorial Commander, Commissioner Friday Ayanam and the Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Commissioner Glory Ayanam, will visit Rivers/Bayelsa Division to perform the installation from 29th to 30th November, 2025 .
Activities which will mark the Installation Service of the Divisional Commander,Major Samuel Edung and the Divisional Director of Women’s Ministries,Major Grace Edung are as follows:
All Salvationists are expected to gather at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, to give the territorial leaders a warm reception on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Other activities for Saturday evening include Praise and Social Night to honour the national leaders. Dress code, Navy blue and white.
On Sunday,November 30, 2025 by 9:00am will commence the Installation Service which will be preceded by a march-past with salute, timbrel display, presentation by the brass band, songsters , young people singing company , amongst others.
All Salvationists and officers are expected to attend with their full uniform and be punctual.
Friends and well wishers are invited to worship with The Salvation Army at 103 Aggrey Road, Old Port Harcourt Township and be blessed.
