Rivers NIS Comptroller Bags Fellow of Institute of Corporate Administration

The Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Rivers State Command, James Sunday, has been conferred with Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration.

The investiture ceremony, which was held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State saw Comptroller James Sunday conferred with the fellowship by the chairman of Rivers State Chapter of the Institute of Corporate Administration, Eze Sam Ubi Onyeka, who is also the Director of Administration, Rivers State Ministry of Information.

At a well attended event, twelve prominent administrators, directors of companies, university and other educational institutions in Rivers State were bestowed with various awards in appreciation of their individual and corporate contributions to human endeavors, businesses and educational activities.  

A letter conveying the nomination for the conferment of fellowship award on Comptroller James Sunday and signed by the Director/Chief Learning Officer of the Institute of Corporate Administration,, Dr Godswill C. Onyekwere, titled: ‘Award For Distinguished Professional Contributions To Public Services/Fellowship,’ said the award is “in recognition and appreciation of your dedication and commitment to service, upwardly mobile and visionary approach to administrative matters, professionalism in service and public spiritednesses.

“This offer qualifies you as a senior member of the Institute and entitles you to append the design story letters FCAI (Fellow Corporate Administration Institute) after your name. Congratulations, while wishing you many years of fruitful service to humanity.”      

In his response, Comptroller James Sunday said, the award “is a reward for hardwork, dedication and selflessness backed up by the spirit of excellence, the award has spurred me to doing more and more, knowing that while dispensing your work people are watching and assessing you, it is good to be prudent at work.”       

He dedicated the award to God for His grace, to the NIS for the privilege to serve, his officers and men.
