As election into the 23 local councils in Rivers State gathers momentum, youths in Elele Kingdom, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state, have declared support for the aspiration of Sir Innocent Worusah to occupy the chairmanship position in the council.

Immediate past secretary of the PDP in ward 4, Elele, Mr Emmanuel Amadi, called for unity and team work “for the actualization of our dream,” adding that Sir Hon Innocent Worusah is competent having gathered experience in both the banking industry and secular world.
Mr Wodah Benjamin on his own part described Sir Worusah as the right man for the job judging from his legacy as the accountant at the Ikwerre Diocese of Anglican church, adding that the chairmanship hopeful is generous and has the heart of giving as exemplified by his philanthropic gesture towards the downtrodden in the society.
Hon. Promise Chigonum Eleonu, the Youth chairman of Mgbola Clan in Elele Kingdom said since the return to democracy in 1999, “no Elele person has occupied the chairmanship position of Ikwerre LGA, hence the need to support Sir Innocent Worusah.”
