This was contained in a message sent to journalists in Port Harcourt on Tuesday by the party’s state publicity secretary, Darlington Nwuju.

Nwuju said Mr. Osaruonu Amadi “was kidnaped from his house by men who disguised as police officers and whisked to an unknown destination.”

The APC state publicity secretary said, “Report reaching us yesterday evening is that the Ikwerre LGA APC secretary in Rivers State, Mr. Osaruonu Amadi has been kidnaped by unknown persons dressed in police uniform at his residence in Aluu, Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State.”
