The saying that a golden fish has no hiding place played out recently when Hon Aye Pepple was bestowed with an award of Excellence by the Niger Delta Media Forum for distinguishing himself in carrying out his responsibilities to the state and humanity.
Pepple, who is the managing director of Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency (RISAA), according to the Niger Delta Media Forum, was honored “in recognition of his outstanding leadership and commitment to repositioning the agency for effective service delivery to the the state which have seen it carrying its responsibilities in line with the rules and laws setting up the agency especially in ensuring that bill boards and other outdoor advert materials were not placed indiscriminately, thereby improving the aesthetics Port Harcourt and its environs.”
While assuring the managing director and his management team of continued support and cooperation of the media in carrying out their duties, the organization however urged him to continue to do his best in the interest of the state.
Responding the RISAA boss expressed appreciation for the award, assuming that he would continue to do his best in the interest of the state.
He praised the the efforts of the state governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and his untiring commitment to repositioning the state through all sectors, and urged him not to be distracted by anti-democratic forces who are bent on distracting his administration.
The ceremony which was brief but colourful took place at the office of the managing director and was witnessed by some members of staff of the agency
