Chairman Oyigbo Local Government Council, Hon. Okechukwu Akara Nwaorgu has described the just concluded Renewed Hope Ambassadors Rally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola Port Harcourt last week as a huge success.
Making this remark while fielding questions from newsmen at the sideline of the event, Nwaorgu said it was not a contestable fact that Mr. President has done creditably well so far and therefore needs to be supported to come back for the second term to enable him complete the good works he has started in the country for the benefit of all.
“Truly, it is my candid plea to the good people of Oyigbo to see reason and come out in their numbers with a view to vote President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to victory come 2027 General Election”, he emphatically stated.
On his general overview of the rally that had in attendance, the FCT Minister Barr. Nyesom Wike alongside other political big wigs in the state, the Akara expressed satisfaction with the super organisation of the programme except that the venue was not too big to contain the mammoth crowd that came out from across the 23 LGA in Rivers State.
“Indeed, the event was well planned and executed properly”.
When quizzed about how his administration in Oyigbo has fared so far, the self-confident Nwaorgu did not mince words to tell newsmen that his service to the people of Oyigbo has been awesome.
“Truly, I have done creditably well in office for the past few months which can be attested by the good people of Oyigbo. You know this is my second term in office, if not, there is no way the good people of Oyigbo would have come out overwhelmingly to re-elect me back to the office for the second time”.
“On a more serious note, my track records of good performance are intact for anyone who may like to come to verify all my claims”.
“In fact, I still maintained that my secret of achievable project execution in Oyigbo today could be traced to my wealth of vast experience in administration coupled with my zeal and desirous to serve my people well at all times”, he frankly summed up.
