Police Arrest Burglary Suspects, Recover Stolen Items

Following reports of burglary and stealing in the Yenagoa metropolis, the commissioner of Police Bayelsa State Command, CP Aminu Pai Saleh has charged tactical commanders and divisional police officers to intensify their operations to curb the menace.

On Friday, December 21, 2018, at about 0445hrs, Policemen arrested one Joshua Teboda (20 years), Ayebatoyefa Godspower (18 years) Biekuromo Godspower (16 years), and Evans Obuju (21 years), all male, along Trinity Church road Agbura.

Items recovered from the suspects include: two 60 inch plasma televisions, two LG sound speakers, pressing iron, two DVD players, one battle axe and other household items.

Our reporter gathered that the suspects reportedly confessed to the crime and were linked to other robbery cases in Yenagoa metropolis.

Sources also said investigation is ongoing and that the suspects will soon be charged to court.
