Ogbonda Bags Award Of Excellence


The joy of surveyor Emmanuel Ogbonda knew no bounds as he was bestowed with an Award of Excellence by the Niger Delta Media Forum for his outstanding business prowess and contributions to the development of his community and employment opportunities he has provided for several youths in the state and the Niger Delta.

According to the chairman of the group, Prince Gbasam, surveyor Ogbonda was honoured for his outstanding business prowess which have provided several employment opportunities for several youths as well as empowerment to several less privileged persons in the state and the Niger Delta.

He described Ogbonda as a man of many parts who has used his God-given resources for the betterment of the society.

The business guru who is treasurer of the Port Harcourt Chambers of Commerce, Industries Mines and Agriculture (PHCCIMA), as well as chairman of several companies including Kefo Suite, a three-star luxury hotel which has over fifty staff in its employ has no doubt proven to be key player in the economy of state.

Responding, surveyor Ogbonda thanked the Niger Delta media forum for the honor and recognition and promised to continue to contribute to the development of the business environment and in the state.

He lauded the state governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara for coming up with programs that will enhance business growth in the state especially the recently held investment summit and microfinance loan initiative which he says will fast track business growth and create employment opportunities for the youths in the state.

He however used the opportunity to condemn what he described as unwanted distractions of the governor by some politicians in the state urging every body to support the administration of Governor Fubara for the sake of equity and fairness.
