Oborevwori Celebrates Abia Gov at 59

The Delta State governor, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated his Abia State counterpart, Dr Alex Otti, on his 59th birthday anniversary.

Governor Oborevwori, in a statement by his chief press secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba on Sunday February 18, 2024, commended the Abia State governor for his audacious drive in repositioning Aba as the commercial hub of the state.

The Delta State governor described Governor Otti as an accomplished professional, indefatigable administrator and promise keeper, and extolled him for his unrelenting patriotic service to the state and the nation at large.

He stated that Otti’s drive to reposition Aba as the economic nerve centre of Abia state had restored the commercial city to its glorious status.

Governor Oborevwori said that it was heart-warming to note that the ex-banker turned-politician had, by dint of hard work and discipline, won the hearts and earned the respect of Abians and other Nigerians.

“Ever since you took office as the governor of Abia State, you have always uphold the principles of good governance, which are based on the need to improve the standard of living of the populace and to maintain peace, security, and sustainable development within the state.

“There is no doubt that your administration’s five-point agenda to address the challenges of economic and social transformation, public service reforms and internal security, has created a vibrant economy for citizens of your state.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I heartily rejoice with you, an outstanding professional, a promise keeper and my brother governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, as you clock 59 years today. On this auspicious occasion, I celebrate with your family, associates and friends and thank Almighty God for your life which has been marked by amazing grace and remarkable accomplishments.”
