NUJ Bayelsa Felicitates ex-President Jonathan on 67th Birthday

Bayelsa State Council of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) has felicitated Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on the occasion of his 67th birth anniversary.

A statement by Chairman of the NUJ Bayelsa State Council, Comrade Tonye Yemoleigha and Secretary, Comrade Stanley Imgbi said the impactful and purposeful life of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan(GCFR) deserves to be celebrated especially on this auspicious occasion of his 67th birth anniversary.

The Tonye Yemoleigha-led NUJ described Dr. Jonathan as an icon of peace and democracy in Africa whose political journey has not only inspired people across the continent and beyond but has also brought development and hope to the people of Nigeria and Africa.

It notes that the footprints of Former President Goodluck Jonathan are still visible in the development history of Bayelsa State, Nigeria, Africa and even the global community which he has continued to serve selflessly.

According to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Bayelsa State Council, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has written his name in gold in the anals of history in the African continent and the global community at large, saying he is a worthy ambassador of Bayelsa State and as a Chapter, the Bayelsa State NUJ is proud to be associated with the former president.

The statement further wished him many happy returns and good health as he continues to promote democracy and good governance in the African continent and serve humanity.
