The burial rites of late Mama Emetughelli Esther Okpakpa (nee Ukpu) a.k.a Ugieore, who slept in the Lord on August 13, 2020, have been announced by the family.
Mama Emetughelli Esther died at the ripe age of 107 years.
According to a statement released by the family, “her obsequies start on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 with a service of songs at her husband’s compound, Uruokpokpo Street, Ehere quarters, Uwheru in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
“While her body would leave Christian Gate Mortuary, Unenurhie for her home town, Uwheru for lying in state at her husband’s compound and funeral service at St Thomas Anglican Church, Uwheru on 16th April and to be followed by entertainment of guests at Udu primary school, Uwheru.”
Also according to her family, there shall be an outing/thanksgiving service at St Thomas Anglican Church, Uwheru and will be concluded by the visit of the in-laws by 1.00 pm on Sunday April 18 2021.
