Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria, NDMPN, has condemn the political crisis in Rivers State and called on the youths of the state not to be used as sacrificial lamb for politicians who don’t ment well for them.
The NDMPN in a statement signed by its Convener, Amb. Joseph Asomeji also called on the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Tunde Disi, and other heads of security operatives in the state to caution their men to remain apolitical in discharging their professional responsibilities, saying that the presumed uproar in Rivers State is uncalled for putting into consideration the economic hardship being experience in the country.
Amb Asomeji who further advised parents and guidance to warn their children to stay away from act capable of truncating the existing peace being experience in Rivers State, hence the need to respect the constitution of the federal government of Nigeria as well as the decision of the court in relation to the political quagmires in the state.
