Man Bathing in front of APC Secretariat, not PDP Member ~ Osun PDP

By Amos Odhe

The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lashed at the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) for linking the man bathing at the entrance of its secretariat to the party, adding that the APC “should stop putting members of the PDP in the imaginary lens of its desperate and fetish members.”
The PDP in a statement signed by its publicity secretary in the state, Hon. Ayodeji Areola, said members of the party “are godly and responsible, unlike the APC which is populated with people who are fond of seeking crooked and illicit means to achieve political objectives.”
Hon. Areola noted that the fact that the APC lied about the true identity of the man in the viral video is enough to tell the public that it cannot be trusted, lambasting the party as “a den of liars and peopled with those without character.
“Our party is founded on the strong faith in God, and Osun people can attest to the godly disposition of our members in anything, even outside politics.
“This is why you will always see us hold prayer sessions to seek the face of God in whatever we are pursuing. It is not in the habit of our members to go fetish or be seen naked with suspicious items, either in the daytime or in the dead of the night.
“It is so wrong for the APC to view our members in the same mirror as its members, thinking anyone of them would descend so low together in public. God, the Supreme power is our guide, and the APC should leave us out of its fetish way of life.”
The PDP further noted that facts emerging after the strange occurrence have revealed that the man in the viral video is mentally challenged, knocking the APC for trying to explore the unfortunate situation of the man for politics.
“With the Police dispelling APC lies that the man in the viral video is a madman and has no link whatsoever with PDP, we must urge the public to be wary of any information from the APC. The party is built on lies and as such, no serious attention should be given to whatever comes from it, as nothing will liars do other than misinform and create confusion.”
