… Says PDP has Failed, Goofed
As the process towards electing the next governor for Bayelsa State by November 2019 gathers steam, a man of God, Prophet Udeme John Bassey (aka Otimkpu I), has said that the immediate past minister of state for Agriculture, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, would emerge victorious at the end of the day.
Prophet Bassey, who is the general overseer of Voice of Freedom Synagogue, said that “by God’s grace, the same Almighty God who used me, Prophet Udeme John Bassey, to install President Muhammadu Buhari and other serving political office holders, including Gov Seriake Dickson, right from his emerging as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer, when all hope was lost,” will actualize this.
Prophet Bassey said that Dickson and the PDP “have goofed in Bayelsa State.”
“I stand to challenge the governor and state that the era of political god-fatherism in Bayelsa is over. What happened between OBJ and Atiku, and also between Senator Rochas Okorocha and his in-law during the 2019 election will also play out in Bayelsa.
“Quote me: Gov Dickson can never, ever, plant his hand-picked candidate to succeed him as the next governor of the state. He and his anointed candidate, including all his allies will fail woefully at the polls. I stand to challenge them, their time is up.
“I, Prophet Udeme John Bassey will replace Gov Dickson and his chosen successor with Bayelsa State’s greatest political asset of all time, a seasoned grassroots politician, very humble, generous, tested and proven political office-holder, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, as the next governor come November.
“I repeat, even if the Bayelsa governorship election will be conducted in Gov Dickson’s private room, under his watch, he will fail with his anointed. An ungodly, inhumane, rubberstamp and loot-minded politician can never occupy Bayelsa State Government House come November 2019.
“I, Prophet Udeme John Bassey will stop the continuation of Gov Dickson’s political lineage and dynasty in Bayelsa. Senator Heineken Lokpobiri is the next governor of the state. God has ordained and chosen him as the next governor of Bayelsa State. So shall it be, and no man can stop or change it. It is a settled case,” he said.
He insisted that “the wife of the governor is a living witness that God used me to actualize Gov Dickson’s divine victory at the poll, including his first and second term as the governor of Bayelsa State.
“I am the source of Gov Dickson’s governorship election victory. I repeat, Dr (Mrs) Rachel Dickson and some of the governor’s close aides are aware of the role I played for their principal’s (Gov Dickson) success story.
“It is quiet unfortunate, that the person you know outside the corridor of power is very different when the power is bestowed upon him or her,” he said.
The prophet advised “all other All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants to throw in the towel and support the God-chosen candidate, Sen. Lokpobiri as the party’s candidate for the November governorship election.
“Lastly, on the issue of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s legal tussle with President Buhari. It is a lost battle for Atiku because PMB’s victory is divine. No man can unseat him. He PMB will govern Nigeria successfully and step aside as the country’s most celebrated and best president.
“PMB’s victory is divine and settled by God Almighty, and just as I prayed and fasted, then publicly pronounced him winner in February 2015 and also before the 2019 presidential election, and it came to pass, even though it almost took my life, while our missionary vehicle was destroyed and vandalized, again, my prayer will save PMB in all his court cases.
“My prophecy for PMB’s divine victory at the poll caused the church to lose our place of worship. We believe well-meaning Nigerians and believers of Jesus Christ will come to our aid to enable the church get a place,” he said.
