FSG Celebrates New Delta Governor, Oborevwori

A political pressure group in Delta State, the Fidelis Support Group (FSG), has congratulated the new state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and his deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme.

In a chat with our correspondent, FSG’s chairman, Dr. Johnson Abrucha, who is also the ‘Akpohor’ (deputy speaker) of Unenurhie community said, “As a political pressure group that worked tirelessly during the 2023 general elections especially during the governorship polls and the fruits of our labour came out with huge results, we are happy to join other Deltans to send our congratulatory message to our amiable governor and his deputy for the successful inauguration and swearing-in.

“In such a celebration, as a popular and vibrant group known in the entire state, we can’t choose to stay behind. In the same way, the group also want to thank our able principal and founder, Hon. Fidelis Adjogbe, a grassroot mobilizer and man of the people.”

Also, vice chairman of the group, Mr. John Akin, described the new governor as a man with the abundant grace of God, with listening ears for his numerous followers.

Hear him: “We congratulate our new governor and his deputy. We specially congratulate our governor as our son in-law and this made us to be part of the success story. Again, Fidelis Support Group happily congratulate our principal and founder, Hon. Fidelis Adjogbe for nourishing this great dream of founding this group. All of us in this group are happy to be members and be part of the success story.

“Therefore, at this time, we want to call on the governor and our son in-law, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to remember the group at all times as governor of the state with his MORE agenda,” he said.

One of the co-ordinators of FSG and one-time councilor for Evwreni Ward 08, Hon. Desmond Okpako, expressed heartfelt support for the new governor and his deputy following their inauguration. He assured Deltans that they would enjoy the dividends of democracy from the Oborevwori administration through the governor’s MORE agenda.
