Former ONOLGA Vice Chairman Commends Ama-Ibi Leaders, Diepiriye, Igolima, Others For Spearheading Devt in Nkoro

…Congratulates New Council Appointees

‎A former vice chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Council in Rivers State, Dr Angela Anthony Oju-Kienmie has lauded the leadership prowees of leaders of Kirika-Ama-Ibi which has birthed new things in the area.

‎Dr Oju-Kienmie in a statement thanked the leaders for their openness and creativity.

‎She said: Kirika- Ama-Ibi is where I feel relaxed , peaceful and becoming more creative. I  am grateful to my senior leaders, National Leader Warisenibo  Hon. Michael Igolima  and President General, Alabo-Elect Minawari Diepiriye, for their all inclusive leadership and encouragement; not forgetting the subheads and all followers in Ama-Ibi Nkoro Kingdom, Opobo/Nkoro LGA, Rivers State.

‎”To our National leader, Ama-Ibi, Warisenibo Hon. Michael Igolima, thank you for letting God use you and for directing your path which has birthed so many good things that are unfolding gradually.  Keep being the great leader that you are.

‎”To our President General, Alabo-Elect Minawari Diepiriye, keep pressing on in encouraging, and strengthening members of our socio- political group to become more focused, “.

‎”Together, we will continue to support the Hon.  Barr. James A. James’ led administration just as you two have admonished us to do to move the LGA forward, especially  Kirika- Nkoro Kingdom, ” She added.

‎Oju-Kienmie commended

‎the  Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. James A. James, approving the appointment of some persons to serve in key positions within the Council such as;

‎Hon. Godwin Jacob – Chief of Staff,  Warisenibo Monday Sotonye Maxwell – Chief Security Officer, Darlington Diri – Deputy Chief Security Officer. Others are  Benson Idahosa – Chief Press Secretary, Fubara Annabel Alabota – Deputy Press Secretary, Ezekiel Wari Jaja – Chief Protocol Officer, Torunge Thursday Joseph – Deputy Chief Protocol Officer and Bestman Silas Dokubo – Special Adviser (SA) on Media/Publicity.

‎While  congratulating the appointees, she wished them success as they contribute to the peace, progress, and development of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area and Rivers State.

‎She equally prayers for understanding on the newly sworn-in vice chairman of the council, Mrs Gladys Daniel Legg-Jack to assist the chairman in piloting the affairs of the council.

‎”I pray that God Almighty gives her wisdom, strength and understanding to pilot the affairs of the officeI of he Vice Chairman and support her boss to take the LGA to greater and enviable heights, ” she said.

‎For the newly inaugurated councilors, she urged them  to cooperate with the chairman, develop laws that will be beneficial to the people of Opobo/Nkoro and above all be proactive in carrying out developmental projects for their wards, stressing that the chairman, as Barr. James A. James is poised to carry them along and to make their administration worthwhile.

‎Meanwhile, a youth in the area, Dennis Samuel Jeckey has appreciated Dr Oju-Kienmie for her support and contribution to the area.

‎He said, “Your dedication, commitment, and selfless service have not gone unnoticed”.

‎Jeckey added: “We are deeply grateful especially me (Dennis Samuel Jeckey) for the positive impact you have made through your efforts. Your leadership, guidance, and encouragement have inspired many and continue to serve as a source of motivation. Please accept this letter as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.We look forward to your continued support and partnership in the LGA”.
