Progress, not perfection, is the foundation of growth, Ezenwafor explains. This is particularly helpful for a country like Nigeria that is swatting economic, social and political challenges, as well as unfulfilled expectations.
In a statement for the book launch in Port Harcourt, the author described the book as a source of inspiration and a catalyst for nation building.
The book launch which will hold on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Golden Tulip Hotel, Garden City, Port Harcourt, will feature distinguished panel of speakers including popular social media Influencer, Dr Ella Ezeadilieje otherwise called, Veronica’s Daughter (Book Reviewer 1), the founder of Knowledge Money University, Emeka Nobis, the Executive Director of Media Career Development Network, Mr Lekan Otufodunrin (Book Reviewer 2), and Inspirational Speaker, Dr Patrick Uduma.
The panelists will share insights on the theme of the book and engage in a thought- provoking discussion.
Ezenwafor noted that, “in a world that often glorifies perfection, ‘Done Over Perfect’ serves a timely reminder that progress not perfection is the foundation of growth, both individually and collectively for a nation like Nigeria where the pressure to achieve flawless outcomes can often stifle innovation and creativity, this book is a call to action”, she said.

“The book promotes a mindset of resilience, adaptability and continuous improvement by encouraging people to prioritize progress over perfection, qualities that are critical for nation building “; she stated.
Drawing from her experiences that birthed the book, Ezenwafor reveals the book offers readers practical wisdom and actionable strategies to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
“This book, ‘Done over Perfect’ will inspire citizens to take bold steps, contribute meaningfully to their communities and work together towards a bright future, appreciate imperfection, find balance and prioritize progress over perfection in both personal and professional life”, she added.
