A leading Customs licensed clearing agent and freight forwarder in the Rivers State, Mr Christopher Isibor Ikekhuamen, has advocated for more government sensitization towards increased export activities in the country.
This, he said, will create more awareness on the importance of having an export based economy.
Mr Ikekhuamen who is the managing director of Ocean Freighters Nigeria Limited made this known while speaking with newsmen shortly after his investiture as a member of the board of trustees of the Institute of Export Promotion and Management in Port Harcourt Rivers State recently.
He said increased awareness and information it will go a long way to ensuring more businessmen participate actively in the export sector of the economy, which will in turn raise the value of the Naira and grow the economy.
He further commended the Institute of Export Promotion and Management for finding him and others worthy of the investiture and recognition, adding that this will enable him add value to the export sector.
