Ex-Agitators Felicitate with Tantita Boss, Ekpemupolo, on Award by Ijaws in UK

The National Chairman, ex-Agitators of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Program, PAP, Elaye Slaboh, has felicitated with the managing director and chief executive officer of Tantita Security Services Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, who was recently bestowed with the Life-time award of ‘Izon-Ebidou Keme,’ meaning a leader who wants the progress of the Ijaw Nation.

Slaboh applauded Tantita Security Services Limited, which he said has been “in forefront of the protection of the degraded Niger Delta Region environment, war against oil spill, pipe line vandalism, oil theft, security of the waterways for sustainable peace in the Niger Delta Region.”

This was contained in a press statement signed by the national chairman of Third Phase of ex- Agitators of the Presidential Amnesty, and made available to Journalists in Yenagoa.

According to Slaboh, “the Third Phase ex-agitators of the Presidential Amnesty Program are deeply appreciative and applaud the ex- war lord whose company had done so much for not only Niger Delta but the entire nation since the establishment of Tantita Security Services Limited.

“Tantita Security Services Limited since it’s establishment has reduced pipeline vandalism, oil theft, created employment for the youths and has also transformed the lives of numerous youths and old people in diverse ways over the years as a compassionate philanthropist, and increased oil production which has given the nation an economic boost.”

He described the honour bestowed on High Chief Ekpemupolo as a certificate of appreciation and recognition by the Ijaw People’s Association (IPA) of Great Britain and Ireland, United Kingdom, for his selfless services and sustainable contributions to the growth and development and peace in the region.

Slaboh solicited for “the cooperation of all stakeholders to rally round him and his company to perform the onerous tasks for the betterment of the country.

“Our country’s mainstay is oil and therefore we must protect it vigorously as any drop in the oil production has ripple effects on every sectors of the economy,” he said.
