His Highness, Moses Inore, the Odion’Rode of Evwreni kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State has sent a ‘thank you’ message to two of his “illustrious sons, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, and Chief (Engr.) Samuel Adjogbe, both of Evwreni kingdom for supporting Unenurhie community to achieve great developmental projects.”

Speaking to our reporter recently in his palace at Unenurhie community, the traditional ruler said: “On behalf of Unenurhie community, I as the traditional head of the community thank most sincerely two of our sons and brothers, in the persons of Olorogun O’tega Emerhor and Chief (Engr.) Samuel Adjogbe for their love and support towards us as a community over the years.

“During his time as the executive director, projects in the NDDC board, Chief Adjogbe helped to draw many projects to the community, like good network of street roads round the community, provision of school uniforms and books to our children in the community primary school, provision of palliatives to the community during the Covid-19 lockdown, and pushing of the perimeter fencing of the community secondary school into the 2019 NDDC budget, though the contractor is yet to come to site, even till this moment. In all these projects mentioned, we are very much grateful to Olorogun Emerhor and Chief Adjogbe for making the Federal Government paid attention to our needs as a community.”

Speaking further, the traditional ruler said, “Outside this, I still want to thank these two great sons and philanthropists of Evwreni kingdom, for remembering their maternal community. It’s glad to note that the mothers of these two great APC leaders hailed from Unenurhie community. We are indeed proud to produce such great and responsible sons. They’re fully Unenurhie indigenes. Don’t forget, every man has two hands, right and left hands. A man is incomplete when one of the hands is cut off. In order to create balance and equality, that is the driving force behind what Olorogun Emerhor and Chief Adjogbe are doing to us. Once again, I pray that God and the land of Unenurhie will continue to bless them without measure.”

Also speaking in appreciation was the president general of the community, Mr. Peter Maison. He thanked the duo for their philanthropy and love towards humanity.

“I know Olorogun O’tega Emerhor for a very long time now. He’s a man I can describe as a saviour to so many people in pains and penury. This is the same character with my big brother, Chief Adjogbe. The two are wonderful people in terms of humanitarian services to the needy and the vulnerable in the society. In fact, I have nothing to say than to join my voice to our traditional ruler, the Odion’Rode of Evwreni kingdom to thank two of them immensely for the roles played to develop our community. If we begin to count their good deeds to our community one after the other, we can’t really exhaust the list.”

In the same way, one of the traditional council member and a respected elder in the community, Mr. Frank Imudje, also thanked Olorogun Emerhor and Chief Adjogbe for always standing tall to promote the community at all times. “They are like Iroko trees shielding us from the scorching sun and heavy rainfall. Yet, like Oliver Twist, we are still asking for more from them. They should use their political might to connect us more to government programmes and projects. They should also help to establish industries especially agro-based in the community to remove our youths from the streets and give them sustainable employment,” he said.
