In continuation of the voter education in Bayelsa State ahead of the governorship election, the Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation has urged market women, men and youths in Sabagreia community market to ensure that they come out to cast their votes on election day.

Chief Executive Officer of ENWAF, Lady Eunice Nnachi, stated this during a voter education sensitization program held at the market in Sabageria Market, Abuwari, Igbainwari, Igbaranbiri and Orubiri town, Opokuma clanall in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Lady Nnachi who explained the process of using the ballot papers, also urged the people to ensure that they thumbprint properly to reduce invalid votes on election day.

She equally advised the people of the communities to vote peacefully, adding that violence during election can hinder the electoral process of selecting candidates that would deliver good governance to the state.

“We should come out and vote, never say my vote does not count, every vote counts, please do not engage in vote buying, your vote is your right.”

The traders, clan heads and people of the communities expressed appreciation to ENWAF for the visit and voter education.
