Ekpeye Youths Condemn Unwobudu’s Murder

President General of Ekpeye Youth Congress Worldwide, Comrade Ogboka Chris Umeda has petitioned the Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris over the alleged killing of Mr Unwobudu Edema by men of the Nigeria police stationed at Obite in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State

While speaking with news men at Ahoada, Umeda expressed shock that late Unwobudu Edema, an indigene of Ahoada in Ekpeye ethnic nationally, could be so murdered by “the police for not paying one hundred naira to them.

The EYC PG was worried that those who are supposed to secure lives and property are directly doing the contrary calling on the IGP and the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Zaki to quickly set up a high powered investigative panel that will unravel the circumstances that led to the killing and ensure that the culprit is brought to book as the killing is one too many

Chief Unwobudu Edima Sydah was gruesomely murdered by men suspected to be from Obite police station, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area Of Rivers State on Wednesday the 24th of October, 2018.

The President General of EYC the apex youth body in Ekpeye land, said the alleged action of the police portends great danger to the country and the society

According to Comrade Ogboka Chris Umeda the perpetrators of this evil crime should be brought to book The EYC PG warned that Ekpeye Youths will relent not until justice is secured.
