Port Harcourt-based construction, engineering and logistics company, East Konsult Limited, has been honoured as the ‘Most Distinguished Corporate Organization of the Year’ by the Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria (NDMPN).
Convener of Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria (NDMPN), Amb. Joseph Asomeji, the conferment was based on extensive investigation carried out by his group’s assessment team on East Konsult Limited’s excellent service delivery and Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
He congratulated the management of the company on service delivery in the construction industry, corporate social responsibilities and humanitarian services for the benefit of mankind.
Amb. Asomeji further noted that NDMPN is a non-governmental organizations known for distribution of educational materials to pupils, distribution of hospital consumables and hosting of sensitization and re-orientation events as a way of encouraging the younger generation in the Niger Delta region.
Hence the appeal for the sponsorship of the second quarter (2025) distribution of exercise books at Community Primary School, Elekahia in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State scheduled for Monday 7th July 2025.
Presenting the Award plaque on behalf of the association, the Board of Trustee chairman of Niger Delta Media Practitioners of Nigeria, Dr. Gilbert Amadi who was represented by his deputy, Mr. Steve Okeke, explained that the award are presented based on merit, and congratulated the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of East Konsult limited, Ichie Ikenna Onu and his team.
Responding on the honour done the company, the MD/Chief Executive Officer of East Konsult, Ichie Ikenna Onu thanked the media practitioners for finding them worthy of the recognition, adding that they have remained committed to service delivery and their corporate social responsibilities in their decades of existence as one of the indigenous Engineering, Construction and Logistics Company in Nigeria.
The business mogul who commended the media practitioners on their selfless service and promised to support their second quarter 2025 distribution of exercise books.
Wife of the MD/CEO of East Konsult Limited, the Executive Assistant to the MD and other staff of the company witnessed the award ceremony which was held at the corporate office of the company in Port Harcourt.
