Bille Kingdom, in Defense Local Government Area of Rivers State, will witness guests and sympathizers who will join children and family members of the late Elder Dimkpa Hezekiah Igani to commit him to mother Earth on December 9, 2023.

A release signed by the chief mourner and scion of the family, Alabo (Hon) Napoleon D. Hezekiah, said the burial arrangement will commence with the service of songs on November 28, 2023 at 24 Kolokuma Street Borikiri, Port Harcourt, while his remains will depart Kpainma morge on December 8 2023 to Opu Okira Community, Bile Kingdom for a Christian wake-keep and the interment proper fixed for December 9, 2023.

Earlier, Alabo Hezekiah briefed newsmen and described their late father as a true father-figure, adding that words are inadequate to describe the qualities of the late sage. He said from history, their beloved father was exceptional and unique in character.

Hear him, “Our father strove to please God in uprightness, truth, justice, charity and honoured God and the things of God. He was polished in character, smooth in oratory, wise in counseling, prudent in management, thoughtful in reasoning, fruitful and productive.

“As a pillar of light, peace and progress, he stood for his children, families and community and was open to strangers and all that came his way,” he concluded.

The chief mourner further stressed that he impacted goodness, etiquette, discipline, tolerance to his children and family members, adding that he will be greatly missed by all and sundry.

Notable Rivers men and women who spoke to our correspondent poured encomiums on Late Elder Dimkpa Hezekiah Igani, adding that his life and times as a business mogul were unparalleled in the scheme of things, especially merchandising.

They appealed to the children to emulate their Late father and keep to his legacies.
