Bayelsa Assembly’s Ex-Chief Whip, Obuebite, Congratulates Diri on Victory at Governorship Tribunal

Former chip whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Jonathan Obuebite, has congratulated Governor Douye Diri and his deputy, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo over the judgement of the Governorship election petition tribunal affirming their victory at the last governorship election in the state.

According to Obuebite, the victory at the tribunal is triumph of good over evil.

According to Obuebite, in a statement jointly signed with his wife, Engr. Anne Obuebute, the victory at the Governorship petition tribunal is well deserved, insisting that justice has been served.

He said “Today, justice has been served, and your mandate and the decision of our people have been reaffirmed. Your perseverance and commitment to the democratic process has paid off, and the people of Bayelsa State have been vindicated.

“This victory is not just a personal triumph but also a testament to the power of the people’s will. Your love for peace, dedication to serving the public interest, and upholding the rule of law has been upheld, and we celebrate this significant milestone with you.

“May this victory inspire you to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of our state and the nation at large.
