The town of Odi in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was recently a beehive of church and social activities as the General Overseer and Founder of the Redeemed Flocks International Gospel Centre, Apostle Michael Ephron added another year to his age as a pastor, husband and father.
The event which was held on 17 July, 2024 at the church headquarters, saw members of the clergy in Odi town, members of his church, branch pastors, business and political class, family members and other dignitaries in attendance.
The service which started with a message titled the ‘Victory of a Father,’ described the celebrant as a victorious father whose life has added many positive changes and different breakthroughs to the lives of his church members, family members and all those that came in contact with him in one way or the other. The message which was delivered by an out-spoken man of God, Pastor Kingsley ended with prayers for the celebrant and his family, and for all the guests and invitees.
Thereafter, the birthday cake which was designed by a professional, was presented before the teeming crowd of guests in the church. After the usual toast, the celebrant, Apostle Michael Ephron, supported by his lovely wife and the church pastors were invited to cut the cake.
After chanting a birthday song and offering of prayers, the cake was happily cut by the celebrant with the support of his wife. As soon as the cake was cut by the celebrant, the stage was opened for glorious jubilation, dancing and singing in the church as they celebrate their general overseer and founder with sonorous Christian lyrics presented by the church choir.
After the cake, it was time for the presentation of birthday gifts to the celebrant by the guests. It was a moment to behold as different birthday gifts were presented to the celebrant by church members, family members, branch pastors, different branches of the church and other invited guests in the event. To add colour to the birthday celebration, the children of the church headquarters presented two sets of Bible drama to the admiration of all and Bible recitations by Brothers Bright and Sunday of the Unenurhie branch of the church. Others presented different birthday messages to the celebrant and his wife.
In his vote of thanks at the end of the birthday party, the celebrant, Apostle Michael Ephron who was highly elated expressed thanks to all that joined him and his wife and children to celebrate the day in a grand style. Hear him:
“On behalf of my wife and children, I want to first of all give the honour and glory to the Almighty God for keeping me to see another glorious year in my life with good health, abundant blessings and prosperity. In the same way, I want to acknowledge the contributions of all my branch pastors and church members to make this day a success and a reality. My family and church members from my hometown of Unenurhie community in Ughelli North LGA of Delta State are well appreciated for their huge financial and prayer support. In fact, words are not enough to express my warmest appreciations and joy to all of you that are present in this birthday party today. For attending this my birthday party, l pray that God will surprise you with different testimonies in Jesus name!”
