It was celebration galore at the Ambassadors of Peace Ministry along Arizona Filling Station Road, Yenizue on Sunday, as the church rolled out the drums to mark its second year anniversary.

Founder of the church, Pastor Elvis Dakore, popularly known as ‘Director 1’ because of his dexterity in playing musical instruments, in his anniversary message, anchored on the theme ‘Greater Height,’ said “for one to attain greater height, God must be with you.”

The vibrant man of God known for his accurate prophetic declarations described greater height means “coming out of where one is to a greater level.”

Quoting Proverbs 13:2, Pastor Elvis Dakore stated that no man receives except he is given by God, as he advised believers that when they discover their source, they should never run away from it. He said our present position is a preparation ground to the next level as God allows problems to train us.

The man of God noted that God “empties the capacity of those He will use in order to refill them to make exploits in His Kingdom.”

He said that the day believers stop seeing men as their source, they will go far but urged them to depend on God and always give thanks to God for His goodness, and mercies.

Pastor Elvis Dakore stated that he never contemplated going into the ministry but had fervent desire to become a politician. But God gave him the vision in 2016 and he could not resist the call, and he started by visiting families to pray and conduct deliverance.

He said the name of the ministry was derived from Isaiah 33:7, adding that the church starting fully with five persons and seven plastic chairs in a room at Oyinga Street in Yenizue-Gene.

The man of God said for Christians to move to greater heights, they should honour and allow God to lead them, be wise and mind their words.

He thanked his father in the Lord, Pastor Ebiwei Baghebo of blessed memory for his tutelage, as well as everyone that contributed to the growth of the ministry.

A talk show hosted by Nengi Samuel and Dennis in the Church auditorium as part of the celebration, while the highpoint of the event was the cutting of the anniversary cake, drama presentation by the APM drama group, musical presentation by Minister Àgulata, Anni Song, Emmanuel Ibinyenbo, Pastor Emmy of Redeemed Christian Church of God among others.
