A front-line servant of God, Apostle Dr. O.A. Samuel, has urged Rivers people to see forgiveness in their heart for the minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, adding that “he (Amaechi) is on a divine mandate as a minister of the gospel.”
The clergy who spoke in an interview in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, said God specifically told him that the erstwhile governor of Rivers State’s political career ended just when he was the governor of the state, adding that though the minister is just trying to buy time, God`s hand is heavy upon him as His oracle and servant, even as he described him as the “David of our generation”.
“Without fear of anything or being contradicted: God told me that Amaechi’s political career ended as a governor because he has a divine mandate. He told me that no Rivers person should be angry with him over much.
“I asked God why? And He replied that “Amaechi is a David! And, I asked why again? He told me that Amaechi has a divine call and that His hand is upon him,” the man of God explained.
Continuing, the clergy said that the erstwhile governor is not just an oracle but a minister of the gospel which he will face after his political career, but further appealed to Rivers people to forgive him and let the past be behind them.
“I don’t know him much personally. but I read about him as Transportation minister. But God said that people are angry with him. But, no one can kill him because God`s hand is upon him. Amaechi is a complete pastor that is why nobody can kill him. Whatever he is doing now is that he is just buying time. He is just forcing himself until he answered the call. That is why since he left office as a governor, he has been struggling in politics,” Dr. Samuel further explained.
On the issue that some persons are already canvassing for him for president come 2023, the clergy responded thus “of course, God cannot lie to me. He might struggle politically to be president or even win. But, he is a complete God`s servant with a call. He can only be there if God wants him to save the country as a president. But the best I know about him on what God has told me is that Amaechi’s time now is the pulpit,” the servant of God said.
Speaking further, the Apostle said the year 2020 reminds every Christian to take stock, adding that as Christians most of us would have made terrible mistakes as a result of our lifestyle, association, etc, but that the overall thing is that as Christians we must continue to seek the face of God in all things.
“As Christians, we must continue to press on and fasten our seat belt”
The man God who says he sees 2021 as a year of divine judgment added that terrible things shall happen and a lot of divine grace, where God shall step down to judge a lot of abnormal things especially government and individuals. There shall equally be bloodshed, he said, but added that those that trust in God shall escaped all the trials.
